JENNIFER ANISTON
1. Start revising 3 weeks before exams begin
· The first 2 weeks will be for reviewing, preparing revision notes/flashcards, and learning any info you haven’t studied yet
· The last week will be for reviewing the summary notes/flashcards, and doing fake tests/past papers as well as relaxing your mind and preparing yourself mentally
2. Prepare summary sheets
· These are different from class notes and ‘’aesthetic’’ notes because they are much shorter and provide basic information on the chapter/topic
· Summary sheets are very helpful tools for the few days leading up to the exams
3. Create fake tests
· Look through your class notes or the textbook and come up with questions that could be in the exam
· Do a few of these fake tests on the last week of revision and do the rest the day before the exam
· Make up challenging questions
4. Don’t study all day
· Remember to get at least 7 hours of sleep at night
· Don’t spend too much time at the library
· Take care of yourself
· If you study for a long period of time and you feel study burnout, drink a glass of water and take a 1-2 hour nap
5. Eat Healthy
· Healthy foods improve memory so make sure you eat enough fruits, veggies, whole grains, and healthy fats(nuts and avocados)
· Drink more water
6. Thoroughly study any concepts you haven’t quite understood yet
· Ask your professor/teacher for help if you need it
7. Ask your professor/teacher for help if you get stuck on a hard past paper question
· Don’t skip hard past paper questions, I used to do this and I was surprised when the same question ended up on the exam paper
